Which phones does Cove work on?
Android 11 or later with a screen lock set, on Google Play now. The iPhone app is coming to the App Store. To use a Cove Card, the phone needs NFC.
I lost my phone. What do I do?
On the new phone, install Cove and choose Lost phone? Recover with Cove Card. Have your card, its PIN and your Save recovery key ready: the card brings back Spend and your duress wallet, and with the Save recovery key, Save too. No card? Restore a wallet with your wallet recovery key.
I lost my Cove Card.
In Cove, Settings, Lost your card? moves Save's funds to Spend with your phone and your Save recovery key (and your co-signer's approval, if you have one). Whoever finds the card can't move Save with it alone.
Someone is forcing me to open Cove.
Set up a duress wallet in Settings, Duress wallet: a second PIN that opens a small separate wallet. Using it locks your real wallet on that phone for 3 days. With a co-signer, money leaving Save also waits 3 days and they can cancel it.
What does Cove cost?
A Cove membership, monthly or yearly, through Google Play or the App Store, pays for Cove's servers, Cove Shield and updates. Without one, Cove still does everything and opens after a short wait. Trades, swaps and pool deposits and withdrawals carry a 0.5% fee, shown before you confirm. Sending and receiving never do. The Cove Card is bought separately.
Can Cove see or move my money?
No. Your keys are made and kept on your phone and your Cove Card. Cove can't move, freeze or recover your funds. That's also why your written keys matter: keep them safe.
How do I pay for a Cove Card?
In XRP. After you place your order, its page shows a payment code: in Cove, tap Send, then Scan to pay. From another wallet or an exchange, send the exact amount to the address shown, with the destination tag. The amount holds for 20 minutes and can be refreshed.
When will my card ship, and can I return it?
Pre-orders ship in Q1 2027; we'll email you when yours is on its way. You can return it within 30 days of shipping. See the terms of sale.
What happens to my address after delivery?
It's encrypted in your browser before it's sent, so no server can read it, and only the people at Cove who ship orders can open it. Once your order is settled with no return pending, at the latest about 90 days after shipping, it's deleted. Orders never paid are deleted after 30 days. Details.
